I specialize in the ancient, now forgotten and seldom practiced art of "Listening to the Patient". I am very thorough and methodical in my approach to patient care. Each new patient contact starts with a detailed history with, of course, special emphasis on relevant Cardiovascular data. This is followed by detailed cardiovascular and relevant general examination.I review all available clinical data including prior laboratory tests and procedures. Differential diagnoses are formulated along with consideration of co-morbid conditions. Only logical and necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures are planned. At the end of your initial visit, with your complete understanding, knowledge and assent, we (you and I) will plan the most appropriate diagnostic and management strategy. You and I will be partners in your Cardiovascular care, right from the start. "Knowledge is Power" and "Educated Consumer is Our Best Customer" are our Practice Guiding Beliefs and not mere cliches. Diagnosis and Treatment are obviously essential functions for my role as a Cardiovascular Physician. However, my practice emphasizes even more on Education, Prevention and Health maintenance.
